TÜRKPATENT Announces New Official Fees Effective January 1, 2025

Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) has announced revised official fees for patents, utility models, trademarks, and designs, effective January 1, 2025.

Most fees have been increased by an average of 44%. Below are some of the frequently paid fees:

  • Patent or Utility Model Application Filing Fee: Increased to 520,00 TRY from 360.00 TRY
  • European Patent Validation Fee: Increased to 20.670,00 TRY from 14.360,00 TRY
  • PCT National Phase Entry Fee (as Patent): Increased to 13.460,00 TRY from 9.350,00 TRY
  • Design Application Filing Fee: Increased to 1.730,00 TRY from 1.200,00 TRY
  • Design Registration Renewal Fee: Increased to 5.280,00 TRY from 3.670,00 TRY
  • Trademark Application Filing Fee (One Class): Increased to 2.350,00 TRY from 1.630,00 TRY; (For the second class: 2.350,00 TRY, and for the third and each additional class: 2.610,00 TRY)
  • Trademark Renewal Fee: Increased to 7.210,00 TRY from 5.010,00 TRY
  • Trademark Registration Fee: Increased to 5.790,00 TRY from 4.020,00 TRY

TÜRKPATENT reviews and announces updated official fees annually, with new rates taking effect on January 1st of each year.
