
Vocational qualification exams for becoming Turkish patent or trademark attorney will be held on January 21, 2018
General qualification exams for becoming Turkish patent attorney and trademark attorney were held on November 11, 2017. Now, the candidates passing these exams will take one more examination, i.e. vocational qualification exams for patents and trademarks. The exams will be held on January 21, 2018 in Ankara.
The candidates for becoming Turkish patent attorney will answer open-ended questions concerning national and international laws and practices related to the patents, utility models, designs, integrated circuit topographies, and geographical indications.
The candidates for becoming Turkish trademark attorney will answer open-ended questions concerning national and international laws and practices related to the trademarks, designs, integrated circuit topographies, and geographical indications.
Vocational qualification exams are the final stage on the way to becoming Turkish Patent and/or Trademark Attorney. The exam passers will have the title of Turkish Patent Attorney or Trademark Attorney or both to practice before Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
