TÜRKPATENT Announces New Official Fees Effective January 1, 2026

The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) has announced revised official fees applicable to patents, utility models, trademarks, and industrial designs, which entered into force on 1 January 2026.

According to the published schedules, most official fees have been increased by an average of approximately 20–25% compared to 2025 rates.

Some of the most frequently paid official fees have been updated as follows:

  • Patent / Utility Model Application Filing Fee: TRY 620,00 (previously TRY 520,00)
  • European Patent Validation Fee: TRY 25.930,00 (previously TRY 20.670,00)
  • PCT National Phase Entry Fee (as Patent): TRY 16.890,00 (previously TRY 13.460,00)
  • PCT National Phase Entry Fee (as Utility Model): TRY 10.560,00 (previously TRY 8.420,00)
  • Design Application Filing Fee: TRY 2.070,00 (previously TRY 1.730,00)
  • Design Registration Renewal Fee: TRY 6.340,00 (previously TRY 5.280,00) Additional designs: TRY 520,00 (previously TRY 420,00)
  • Trademark Application Filing Fee (one class): TRY 2.820,00 (previously TRY 2.350,00) Second class: TRY 2.820,00 Third and each additional class: TRY 3,150,00
  • Trademark Renewal Fee: TRY 8.730,00 (previously TRY 7.210,00) for renewal covering up to two classes, TRY 750,00 (previously TRY 600,00) for the third and each additional class
  • Trademark Registration Fee: TRY 7.010,00 (previously TRY 5.790,00)

TÜRKPATENT reviews and announces its official fee schedules on an annual basis, with updated rates typically becoming effective at the beginning of each calendar year.
