Article 179
The first paragraph of Article 23 of the Law no. 5000 has been amended as follows and the expression of “and obtaining positive opinion” at the third and fourth paragraphs and paragraph (b) of the sixth sub-clause has been annulled.
“The members of the Office’s Management Board shall be appointed among persons that have graduated from a domestic or abroad higher education institution of at least four years duration, with sufficient occupational knowledge and ten years of experience. The representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Finance shall have at least ten years of employment in the relevant Ministry and have adequate occupational knowledge and experience; and one of the members to be determined by the Minister of Science,
Industry and Technology shall be a representative of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges with at least ten years of experience in the public and/or private sector.
